Coccio

Venetian Plaster Coccio Antico is a natural polished lime based plaster containing embedded grains of terracotta or cement. The use of Coccio- Antico Venetian Plaster by OIKOS guarantees maximum vapour permeability to the wall helping the natural diffusion of humidity and thus avoiding the development of mould and bacteria. The grains of terracotta that are the characteristic ingredient in this product give a warm touch that compliments the chosen colour and gives the decorator the possibility to recreate the so called “Coccio pesto effect”. The cement particles embedded in the formulation create gray nuances that come through the colour making it ideal for even the most modern architectural demands. The same cement particles give the decorator the possibility of creating the so called “Marmorino effect”.
